The mushrooming of global capability centers is also driving the need for senior talent. One of the sources for that talent is the IT services industry. Experts say they are seeing some shifts from the traditional IT services sector to the emerging GCCs in senior roles today.

Indian GCCs are creating significant value across various dimensions like cost efficiency, innovation, operational excellence and market expansion, says Rohit Srivastava, Senior Partner, LONGHOUSE Consulting. This is attracting talent. “We have observed significant growth in the appeal of GCCs among senior IT executives in India.
