ETtech has put together its annual list of executive changes and big movements in the startup and tech industry in collaboration with executive search firm LONGHOUSE Consulting.

This year, Microsoft’s India president Anant Maheshwari left the Seattle-headquartered firm’s India operations after seven years to return to technology conglomerate Honeywell, where he worked between 2004 and 2016.

Replacing Maheshwari, Microsoft named Puneet Chandok as president of Microsoft India and South Asia. Previously, Chandok worked as the president of Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led the company’s India and South Asia business.

LONGHOUSE Consulting’s founder and CEO Anshuman Das said, “The executives are optimising for more long-term stability and going for companies that are building profitable businesses”. He added that percentage hikes and other financial incentives in the year for these executives have mostly been flat in growth.
