LONGHOUSE Consulting partnered with YourStory and launched India’s CTO Excellence Awards to recognise and celebrate the exceptional contributions of 22 tech leaders who have significantly impacted India’s technology landscape over the past decade at an event held in Bengaluru on June 21, 2024.

Witnessing the Indian startup ecosystem blossom over the past 15 years has been an incredible privilege. At LONGHOUSE Consulting, we’ve had a front-row seat to this journey since we were founded in 2009 as a specialised search firm focused on building leadership teams in this space.

Our story is deeply intertwined with the startup ecosystem. As young IIT graduates, our founders recognised the critical role technology plays and the potential of tech leaders. We recruited top tech talent from the US back to India and identified leaders within established tech companies ready to bet on startups. These individuals drove tech-led disruptions across fields like SaaS, cloud computing, big data, blockchain, and AI.

Despite challenges, we’ve bridged talent gaps, collaborated on scaling strategies, and navigated pandemic adjustments. Technology has been at the core of every move. We’re immensely grateful for the contributions of tech leaders in building the Indian startup ecosystem.
